I have a Nokia 6600 that I've been using with T-Mobile's t-zones pro service, (I've complained about this before) since getting the 6600 I've been wanting to use Agile Messenger and Putty, but they aren't covered under the pro service. So I called 611 today to upgrade to the Internet Unlimited plan. In a nutshell these are the differences in service. UPDATE I called T-Mobile and I've updated the chart, I was wrong about the Unlimited vs Pro Plans
Service Price Feature
t-zones $4.99 Access to the Web via port 80
t-zones $9.99 A "real" connection to the web with SOME port restrictions. mail seems to work and https (I'm not 100% sure on AIM), I know ssh doesn't work :-(
Unlimted Internet $19.99 A "real" connection to the web with no port restrictions and some MMS messages
The speed with which it was activated too was kick ass, about ten minutes after I got back to my desk I got 3 OTA SMSs, and *poof* I could access all the ports that were blocked before, I'm also not sure if it is just me but the connection seems faster too, I'll check it when I have my laptop and I can connect using BT and a "real browser" Good work T-Mobile!
