Motorola A630 Summary Motorola A630 I Hardly Knew Ye I picked up an A630 this weekend hoping it would be my idea phone small, with BT and keyboard. Well it has those but it doesn't cover why I'd want to use it. I was looking for something that could handle ssh, light email, easy web browsing, SMS and IM. At first I thought it was promising, the keyboard was easy to use it understood multiple mailboxes and IMAP w/SSL and I found a MDIP Java ssh client. Unfortunately there were a few bad things in fact so bad that I put the phone back in the box and I'm returning it this weekend. First off IM is via SMS (as opposed to via my unlimited GPRS connection) Second I'm going to have to side with Russell the Moto interface sucks. Third it doesn't sync with iSync (via bluetooth) and finally for some reason the prompt about allowing the ssh client to ask about being allowed didn't work! To make matters worse the RF reception wasn't as good as my Nokia 6600 and the outside keypad is pretty crappy. My ideal phone would be same form factor as the Moto A630 but running Symbian Series 60, does a phone like this exist esp that small?
